On Thursday, September 25, Kolding Municipality warmly invites international citizens and newcomers to explore the city’s vibrant cultural life and volunteer opportunities, discover Danish language courses, and gain valuable insights into the Danish labor market and workplace culture.
There will be a variety of stands where you can learn more about:
-
Volunteering and community life in Kolding Municipality
-
Danish language education
-
The local labor market and the needs of businesses in Kolding
-
Job search opportunities
Lone Engell from Aperian Global will give a presentation on Danish workplace culture — what typically characterizes a Danish workplace, common pitfalls for international employees, and the key do’s and don’ts.
Following the presentation, you will have the opportunity to take Aperian Global’s GlobeSmart Profile. This tool allows you to map your own cultural profile and compare it with the Danish profile, helping you see where you align and what areas to be aware of.
During the break, coffee, tea, and cake will be served. Please note that registration is required for catering purposes.
